Dear Beddington Heights Families,

We had a wonderful week celebrating the learning of our Grade 1, 3, 4, and 6 students on Thursday afternoon and evening. Thank you to all the families who were able to join us, and to our dedicated staff for their hard work in preparing students for this event.

We also had the opportunity to recognize and thank our incredible volunteers before the afternoon performance. Our school truly could not do all that we do without them. From supporting field trips, School Council, book fairs, and photo days to organizing fun lunches and so much more, their contributions are essential. We are deeply grateful for all the amazing volunteers who help make BHS such a vibrant and supportive place to learn.

I have a few additional notices this week:

Family Pizza Night @ Dominoes Hunterhorn | Thursday May 8th

Order from Domino's in Hunterhorn this Thursday for Family Pizza Night! 10% of all proceeds from online and phone orders will go towards supporting Beddington Heights families in need next Christmas. Treat your family to pizza and help make a difference for BHS families! Flyers for discounts will come home with students this week!

SoundKreations

Next week, we are excited to welcome SoundKreations for a dance residency with our Grade 4–6 students. Throughout the week, students will explore a variety of dance styles and build their skills in preparation for a performance on Friday, May 9th at 11:00 AM. Families are warmly invited to attend this showcase and celebrate the students' learning. This opportunity has been generously funded by Parent Council!

Please note: the Dance PL3Y residency originally planned for our Grade 1–3 students earlier this year has been rescheduled for next year due to delays with the installation of our new gym floor and scheduling challenges with rebooking this residency for the 24-25 school year. We appreciate your understanding.

BHSPA Parent Engagement Night | June 4 @ 7pm
