One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

About Our Parent Society

Our Parent Society is Known as the Beddington Heights School Parent Association

A primary function of the Parent Association is fundraising and event organization/assistance. In the past funds raised by our parent society have purchased technology; funded busing for field trips and purchased materials that are enhancements beyond the basic resources required to meet curriculum objectives.

Meeting Dates/Schedule

Meetings generally follow right after school council meetings. Beddington Heights School Council meets monthly on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm online via Microsoft Teams. All Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings. The meeting link can be found in the Principal's Weekly Update.
