Dear Beddington Heights Families,
We’ve had a wonderful week at BHS! Students engaged in meaningful learning around Truth and Reconciliation, including Orange Shirt Day on Friday. It was also fantastic to welcome so many families for Meet the Teacher and to wrap up our first Book Fair of the year.
I’m excited to share that BHS families have raised an incredible $965 for the Terry Fox Foundation—just $35 away from our goal! If we reach it, I’ll be taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge for the students, while Mr. Lancee and Mr. Quigley will be dressed in some very silly costumes for the day.
I want to remind everyone that tomorrow is a Non-Instructional Day, and Tuesday schools will be closed for Truth and Reconciliation Day, so there will be no school for students on Monday or Tuesday this week.
