Hello BHS Parents and Guardians,
This week was the first School Council meeting of the year, and it was wonderful to see so many parents participating! School Council meetings are open to all parents, even if you do not have a specific role on the council. The meetings are online, and we encourage you to pop in and get to know the amazing work that the council does to support learning and community building at BHS including fundraising, volunteering, and planning community events!
Picture Day
Tuesday, October 13 is picture day! With the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, please be reminded that picture day is the first day of school next week. If you are available to help out and are a cleared volunteer, please give the school office a call at 403-777-6610
Glow Dance!
Thursday, October 15 from 6-8pm is the Glow Dance, hosted by School Council. Please plan on attending with your child! It will be a a neon-filled evening with music, glow sticks, glow-in-the-dark tattoos, games, and prizes!
🍿 Snacks and water will be available for purchase (cash only).
🎃 Halloween costumes are optional!
Come dressed to glow and bring your best dance moves!

Annual Forms
As a school, we are now 80% complete! 100% of forms are required so if you haven't already, please complete the following forms that are also available through the SchoolEngage tab in your MyCBE account:
- Demographic Verification - 2026-27
- Citizenship Information Update - 2026-27 (only if there has been a citizenship change)
- Annual Authorization - 2026-27
