Dear Beddington Heights Families,

We were so happy to welcome students back to school today, it was a wonderful return! The energy, smiles, and excitement in our classrooms and hallways reminded us just how special our school community is.

We want to sincerely thank all our families for your patience, understanding, and support throughout the recent teacher strike. We know this period of uncertainty was challenging, and we truly appreciate the flexibility and care you’ve shown.

As we transition back, there will likely be some adjustments to school calendars. We are currently reviewing these details and will share any updates as soon as they are confirmed.

Thank you again for your continued support and for working with us to make Beddington Heights such a strong and caring community. We’re so glad to be back together!

Halloween | Update

Unfortunately, we cannot host our annual Halloween Family Dance this year as all October school events had to be cancelled. We are disappointed, but we look forward to bringing the event back next year!

In place of the dance, we will be celebrating Halloween Costume Day on Friday, October 31st. Students are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes or dress in orange and black if they celebrate Halloween.

Costume Guidelines:

  • Costumes must allow students to fully participate in all activities, including PE (no inflatable costumes, please).
  • No masks or face coverings (face paint is okay).
  • Costumes should be elementary school-appropriate (no weapons or gory costumes).

If you have any questions or require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school.

Take care,

Steve Ross
