Fun Lunch | Jelly Modern Donuts
Our next Fun Lunch will be Jelly Modern Donuts on January 19th. The ordering deadline is January 24. Orders can be placed at HealthyHunger.ca.
Popcorn Sales | Delivered Every Thursday
Again this year, the Parent Council will be selling popcorn for students which will be distributed each Thursday. All proceeds will support BHS families in need during the Winter Break/Christmas season. Popcorn orders will be made through Healthy Hunger, so students won’t need to bring money to school. Families can also pre-order for multiple weeks if they prefer.

Dates of Significance
Ribbon Skirt Day – January 4, 2026
Ribbon Skirt Day honours Indigenous identity, resilience, and pride. Students and staff are invited to learn about the significance of the ribbon skirt and celebrate Indigenous voices, culture, and self-expression.
Armenian Christmas – January 5, 2026
Armenian Christmas is observed on January 6, commemorating the birth and baptism of Jesus Christ. It is a sacred day of worship, reflection, and family within the Armenian Christian community.
Orthodox Christmas – January 6, 2026
Orthodox Christmas is celebrated on January 7 by many Eastern Orthodox Christians. The day marks the birth of Jesus Christ and is observed through prayer, tradition, and time with family.
Epiphany – January 6, 2026
Epiphany commemorates the visit of the Magi and the revelation of Christ to the world. It is a day of reflection, faith, and spiritual meaning.
