Dear Beddington Heights Families,
As we head into our final week of the school year, I want to take a moment to recognize the energy, care, and commitment that has carried us to this point. This time of year brings a mix of emotions; excitement, reflection, and anticipation for what’s next. For our students, it marks the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another. For our staff and families, it’s a chance to celebrate growth, resilience, and the many moments, big and small, that made this year meaningful. Let’s finish strong, with kindness, patience, and a shared sense of pride in all we’ve accomplished together.
I have a few additional notices this week:
Play Day Volunteers Needed | Tuesday June 24
We’re looking forward to a fun-filled Play Day on Tuesday, June 24, but we can’t do it without the help of our wonderful parent volunteers! In order to run all the exciting stations and provide the best possible experience for our students, we still need several more volunteers to step in. Whether you can help guide our youngest students or support an activity station, your involvement makes all the difference. The event runs from 8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., with volunteers arriving at 8:30 a.m. to receive a package for the morning. If you’re able to help, please sign up ASAP. Thank you for being a part of making this day a success, we truly couldn’t do it without you!

Dates of Significance
Summer Solstice | June 20
The summer solstice marks the longest day of the year—a time of light, energy, and reflection. As we welcome the official start of summer, it’s a wonderful opportunity to pause, appreciate the season’s beauty, and carry forward the warmth, optimism, and renewal that this natural milestone brings.
National Indigenous Peoples Day | June 21
National Indigenous Peoples Day is a time to recognize and celebrate the history, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.
