Happy Halloween Weekend BHS Families,
Next week is our second School Council Meeting (see link above). One of the agenda items that I have asked to be added concerns morning drop-off. I am very curious about your experiences as you drop your children off at school in the morning. If you cannot make the school council meeting, please feel free to respond to this email with your thoughts or concerns.
Swimming Forms
In December, all students are invited to take part in swimming lessons. Forms have gone home and are required to be completed and returned asap. Volunteers will be needed, so please call the office or sign up using the Parent Council volunteer sign up.
‘Hug and Go’ Drop Off
Please be reminded that the Hug and Go drop off area on Bermuda Road (front of school, behind busses) is not for parking. If you are using this area, please do not leave your vehicle and walk your child to the school.
Support with winter clothing, food, fees, fun lunch, etc
Please reach out to Ms. Tipper (rjtipper@cbe.ab.ca) if your family could use some support this year. We have some access that we can share to help families with basic needs and would be happy to provide support.
Instagram – Halloween Pics! And Contest Winners!
Students looked spectacular in their Halloween dress-up today. Thank you for ensuring that our costume protocols were followed. Check out the school Instagram for some fun pictures. Briella (aka: Road Kill) won our costume contest and her grade swill be treated to a pizza party on Nov 5. A shout out to Mavis in grade 3 and Anneke in grade 4 as our runners up! Thank you to our Leadership Club for organizing the contest, making the posters, and helping to judge the entries!
I hope you have a safe and happy weekend,
Ms. Clancy
