Dates of Significance
February | Black History Month
February is Black History Month, a time to learn about, celebrate, and honour the histories, contributions, and achievements of Black Canadians and Black individuals around the world. Throughout the month, students will engage in age‑appropriate learning that highlights diversity, community, and the importance of equity and inclusion. At Beddington Heights School, we believe these conversations help build empathy, understanding, and a sense of belonging for all students, and we appreciate our families’ support as we continue to learn and grow together.
