Swimming | Grade 4-6 and Miss Hansen
Students in Grades 4–6 and Miss Hansen’s class will be swimming this week. To help make the transition at the pool smoother, please have your child wear their swimsuit under their clothes when they come to school. In addition, remember to pack a towel, undergarments for after swimming, and an extra snack, as students are often hungry after their lesson.
Celebration of Learning
Thank you to all the families who joined us last Thursday for our Grade K, 1, 4, and 6 Celebration of Learning. The students were thrilled to share their performances with you, and we truly appreciate everyone who was able to attend. A special thank you to our teachers for their hard work and dedication in preparing the students for this wonderful event.
Dance Pl3Y Performance | Parents Invited
Grade K-3 students will be engaged in a dance residency this week generously funded by our Parent Council! They will be showing off their moves on Friday for the whole school. Parents are invited to attend this performance! The doors will open at 10:30 am, with the performance starting at 10:45 am.
Minds Matter | Healthy Screen Time Habits
With the banning of Social Media for all kids under 16 happening in Australia, it is a great time to explore the concept of healthy screen time given it’s known impacts on social development and mental health. Please see the Minds Matter Newsletter developed by the CBE in conjunction with the Recovery Alberta Team highlighting healthy screen time habits this month.
