Gymnastics| Message from Mrs. Sterne
Over the next three weeks, all students will be participating in a gymnastics unit during Physical Education. To ensure safety and comfort while engaging in these activities, please make sure your child comes prepared with:
- Loose and comfortable clothing suitable for movement
- No jewelry
- Hair tied back with elastics
- No hoodies
These guidelines help students move freely and safely during gymnastics. Thank you for your support in preparing your child for this exciting unit!
Level Up Literacy Block
Next week, in alignment with our School Development Plan, we will begin the BHS Level Up Literacy Block.
From 8:30 to 9:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday, students will be regrouping across the school to focus on specific literacy skills. This block is designed to provide targeted instruction to help students grow in the areas they are currently working on in reading.
We are excited about this opportunity, as it allows students to receive focused support tailored to their individual needs, helping them build confidence and strengthen their literacy skills.
2026-27 School Year Registration
Registration for the 2026-27 school year will open on Monday, January 12, 2026.
Please note:
- Current CBE students will automatically be enrolled for the next school year. No action is required unless you are applying for an alternative program.
- New students, including those starting Kindergarten, must complete a registration form. This form will be available online through SchoolEngage starting January 12. More information on how to register can be found here.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the school office.
Alberta Education Literacy and Numeracy Assessments
