A reminder that this coming Friday there will be no school for students.  

Gymnastics| Final Week 

All students will be participating in a gymnastics unit during Physical Education, with this week being “Mission Impossible”. To ensure safety and comfort while engaging in these activities, please make sure your child comes prepared with: 

  • Loose and comfortable clothing suitable for movement 
  • No jewelry 
  • Hair tied back with elastics 
  • No hoodies 

These guidelines help students move freely and safely during gymnastics. Thank you for your support in preparing your child for this exciting unit!

Our next Fun Lunch will be Jelly Modern Donuts on January 29th. The ordering deadline is January 24th. Orders can be placed at HealthyHunger.ca. 


Popcorn Sales | Delivered Every Thursday 

Parent Council sells popcorn for students, which will be distributed each Thursday. All proceeds will support BHS families in need during the Winter Break/Christmas season. Popcorn orders will be made through HealthyHunger.ca. The ordering deadline for each week is Saturday.

2026-27 School Year Registration 

Registration for the 2026-27 school year will open on Monday, January 12, 2026. 

Please note: 

  • Current CBE students will automatically be enrolled for the next school year. No action is required unless you are applying for an alternative program. 
  • New students, including those starting Kindergarten, must complete a registration form. This form will be available online through SchoolEngage starting January 12. More information on how to register can be found here

Holocaust Remembrance Day – January 27 
Holocaust Remembrance Day honors the six million Jewish victims and millions of others persecuted during the Holocaust. It recognizes survivors, preserves historical truth, and reminds us of our responsibility to stand against antisemitism, discrimination, and hatred while promoting dignity, empathy, and human rights for all people. 

National Day of Remembrance and Action Against Islamophobia – January 29 
This day remembers victims of anti-Muslim violence and acknowledges the harm caused by Islamophobia. It calls on communities to learn, reflect, and take action to challenge prejudice, promote inclusion, and ensure Muslim individuals feel safe, respected, and valued in schools, workplaces, and society.
