Fundraiser| Message from the Parent Association 

We are excited to launch our BHS Brew Coffee & Tea Fundraiser in partnership with Rebel Bean Roasters. 

From February 17 to March 15, families and friends can purchase freshly roasted coffee and loose-leaf tea while supporting Beddington Heights School. Our school receives 30% commission on every bag sold.

BHS Brew is our special edition medium roast coffee with a custom school label. It is smooth, mellow, and easy to enjoy, making it a great everyday coffee or gift.

Coffee (400g bags) 

• Medium roast, Dark roast, Espresso blend, Swiss Water Process decaf, Whole bean or ground 

All coffee is 100% Arabica and roasted locally in Okotoks. 

Loose Leaf Tea (50g bags) 

• Arabian Mint (caffeine free), Rooibos Blueberry (caffeine free), Earl Grey Cream, Organic English Breakfast 

📦 Order Pickup 

All orders will be delivered to Beddington Heights School after March 15. Families will be notified when orders are ready for pickup.

Fun Lunch | Edo Japan 

Our next Fun Lunch will be Edo Japan on February 26th. The ordering deadline is February 21st. Orders can be placed at HealthyHunger.ca. 


Popcorn Sales | Delivered Every Thursday 

Parent Association sells popcorn for students, which will be distributed each Thursday. All proceeds will support BHS families in need during the Winter Break/Christmas season. Popcorn orders will be made through HealthyHunger.ca. The ordering deadline for each week is Saturday.

Math Night | Thursday, February 19 from 6-7:15 

Parent Council is hosting an evening focused on fun and engaging math games you can play at home with your children. An RSVP is required to attend, and there are only spits for the first 50 families. Please see the poster for full details about the event and information on how to RSVP before the February 16 RSVP Deadline.

Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the lunar calendar and is celebrated across many Asian cultures. Families gather to share meals, honour ancestors, and welcome good fortune, health, and happiness for the year ahead. 

Ramadan – February 19 to March 20, 2026 

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide through fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. From dawn to sunset, participants fast to deepen spiritual awareness, practice gratitude, and strengthen compassion for others. 

World Day of Social Justice – February 20, 2026 

World Day of Social Justice highlights the importance of fairness, equity, and human rights for all people. It encourages action to address poverty, inequality, discrimination, and barriers to opportunity in communities around the world. 

International Mother Language Day – February 21, 2026 

International Mother Language Day celebrates linguistic and cultural diversity worldwide. It promotes the preservation and protection of all languages, especially endangered ones, and recognizes the importance of mother tongues in education, identity, and community connection.
