Wishing You a Wonderful Summer, Beddington Heights Families!

As another school year comes to a close, it’s hard to believe how quickly the time has passed—yet somehow, September feels like a distant memory. I’d like to take this opportunity to send our heartfelt best wishes to our Grade 6 students as they move on to junior high. We are incredibly proud of each of them and can’t wait to see what they accomplish in this next chapter.

To the families who are also leaving our school community, thank you for your trust, partnership, and support. It has been our honour to work with your children, and we hope we’ve lived up to the confidence you placed in us.

For our returning students in Grades K–5, we wish you a summer filled with joy, rest, and time with those you love. We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, to kick off the 2025–26 school year. Your child’s new teacher will be reaching out by email before the end of day on Thursday, August 28, with a welcome message and important information about the first day.

I have a few additional notices this week:

School Today

Another important reminder that today is an early dismissal day for students. All students (K-6) will finish the day at 11:50!

Lost and Found

Please come by during school pick up and check the lost and found in the entry way. All remaining items will be donated at 1 pm today.

Report Cards

Final report cards summarize student achievement from February through June 2025. These are available online currently through your PowerSchool Parent Account until July 25.
If you have any questions or concerns, please connect with your child’s teacher by noon on June 27 via email or phone.

Thank you again for being such a supportive school community. It’s a true privilege to serve as the Principal of Beddington Heights School. While I won’t be checking my email daily over the summer, I will check in regularly—please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

Wishing you all a safe, restful, and happy summer break!

Take care,

Steve Ross
