Dear Beddington Heights Families,

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us on Thursday night for Meet the Teacher. It was great to share information and connect with families as we settle into the school year. A reminder that the school will be closed tomorrow in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

I have a few additional updates today:

October 3rd is Pizza Night @ Dominoes Hunterhorn

Order from Domino's in Hunterhorn this Thursday for Pizza Night! 10% of all proceeds from online and phone orders will go towards supporting Beddington Heights families in need this Christmas. Treat your family to pizza and help make a difference for BHS families!

School Council | Tuesday @ 6:30pm

Everyone is welcome to join our first School Council meeting of the year, which will be held online. We meet virtually on the first Tuesday of most months to discuss how we can collaborate to create the best learning environment for our students. Please check the key dates section for the link to join.

Bikes and Scooters on School Grounds

We remind students and adults that bikes and scooters must not be ridden on school grounds to ensure everyone's safety during drop-off and pick-up times. Please walk your bike or scooter once you reach the school boundary

World Teacher Day | Saturday October 5th

On October 5th, we celebrate the dedication, passion, and hard work of our amazing teachers. Their commitment to nurturing and inspiring students each day helps shape a brighter future. Thank you to our incredible teaching team for making a lasting difference in our school community!

I hope everyone has a great long weekend, and if you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office at 403-777-6610.

Take care,

Steve Ross

Principal, Beddington Heights School
