I am very excited to announce that Clancy Evans has been named our school's new Principal beginning in August of 2026. Clancy comes with a wealth of experience and a strong reputation within our board. I am extremely confident that she will be a great leader for this school community!

Clancy and I will work together over the next few months to ensure there is a smooth transition. Please join me in welcoming her to our amazing community!

Hello Beddington Heights School Community,

I look forward to joining the Beddington Heights School community as Principal. Principal Ross has shared so many wonderful things about the BHS community, and I feel grateful to begin this new role working alongside such dedicated staff, students, and families.

I have worked in education for over 20 years, teaching and leading in K–12 schools. For almost five years, I’ve been serving as the Assistant Principal at Belfast School, and prior to that I worked with the CBE Curriculum and Assessment Team as the Fine and Performing Arts Specialist. I am passionate about the arts, athletics, land-based learning, and creating joyful, integrated learning experiences for students. Building strong relationships, engaging in reflective practice, and supporting reconciliation through education are central to my work as an educator and leader.

My roots are in Saskatchewan, and I come from a Welsh, British, and Mennonite background. Outside of school, I enjoy curling, reading, travelling, and golfing. My husband, Dean, and I have two adult children, Ethan and Bryn, and we recently welcomed a new grand-puppy to our family.

I believe that meaningful educational experiences are built through strong relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to student success and well-being. I look forward to getting to know the Beddington Heights School community and working together to create engaging, welcoming, and supportive learning experiences for all students.
