Dear Beddington Heights Families,
We have lots of exciting events coming up as we head into the final two weeks of the school year! This week, our Grade 6 students will be wrapping up their PATs, our Grade 1s are off to explore the zoo, and we’ll be celebrating Career Day as part of Spirit Day. We’re also gearing up for our School Council’s Casino—a key fundraiser that plays an important role in supporting our school programs!
I have a few additional notices this week:

Fun Lunch | Panago Pizza on June 19 (Deadline to order was June 14)
You can order a Fun Lunch for your child at healthyhunger.ca. This upcoming month we were able to provide nine students with a Fun Lunch who do not typically receive one due to generous donations of Beddington Heights families! Thank you for your support!
Upcoming Casino | Message from Parent Council
This is the major source of funding for resources and activities for students of BHS. Field trips, residency programs, supplemental classroom materials are all paid for with money from this fundraiser. No police clearance is required for the casino and anyone can volunteer (including all of your friends and family). Please spread the word to help our fundraising effort.

Volunteers Needed for Grade 6 Farewell – June 25
We are looking for volunteers to help make our Grade 6 Farewell celebration a fun and memorable event. The farewell and dance will take place on the morning of Wednesday, June 25, and we need extra hands to help run games and support activities during the dance.
If you are able to help, please contact Brooklyn Shill at brooklynshill@gmail.com.
Your time and support will go a long way in creating a special send-off for our amazing Grade 6 students. Thank you in advance!
Popcorn Sales | Update
As we move into June, there are no more popcorn days through Healthy Hunger. We will be selling all remaining bags of popcorn in our supply (about 150 bags) on Tuesday and Thursday while supplies last. Students can buy bags for $2.50 at Mr. Berry’s room during their lunch period.
Leadership Club Final Spirit Day | June 20
On Friday, June 20, we’re celebrating Career Day! Students are invited to dress up as their future career — whether they dream of being a scientist, artist, mechanic, teacher, or anything in between. It's a fun opportunity for students to explore their interests and share their aspirations with the class!
