Happy Summer Break Beddington Heights Families!

Like all things, this year seems to have flown by but yet, September 1 seems so long ago. I want to take a moment to wish all our departing Grade 6s the best of every success as they move on to junior high school. We cannot wait to see where they will go and what they will make of their opportunities. To the parents of these students who may also be leaving us, I want to thank you for your continued support in our daily work with your child and for trusting us with your most precious element in life! I hope we have not let you down.

For all our Grade K-5 students who will be retuning to us next fall, I want to wish you all a wonderful summer break filled with family, friends, rest and relaxation!  We will start this all again with our first day back for the 2024-25 school year on Thursday, August 29, 2024.  You will hear from your child’s new teacher via email prior to August 28 welcoming your child to their class, and sharing any relevant information for the school start up.

I have one additional items to highlight this week:

Report Cards

The June report card reflects the summative achievement of each student through the final months – February through to the end of June 2024, for this school year.  These will be available online in your parent PowerSchool account June 26 until July 26, 2024.

If you have questions or concerns about your child’s report card, please contact your child’s teacher by email or by phone, by noon on June 28, 2024. 

Thank you again for your support and partnership over the year, I feel so privileged and honoured to be the principal at BHS.  Wishing you all the very best over the summer and please know that while not attached to my email daily, I do check in, so if you need anything at all, please feel free to reach out.
