We had a busy week this week including our grade 3/4s visiting Drumheller, our final School Council Meeting, Kindergarten Orientation, Patroller Picnic and Bike to School day! Thank you to all the student and adult volunteers that supported us this week and to CPS for supporting our event today which included over 150 students on bikes!

This month is Italian Heritage Month which is a great opportunity to celebrate this vibrant community of over 1.5 million in Canada! From business to sports, cuisine, politics, and much more, the community has enriched all aspects of our society, and continues to do so.

I have a couple additional items to highlight this week:

Popcorn on Sale | $2/bag until the supply runs out!

With the school year coming to a close, we will be selling off our stock of popcorn at a discounted price of $2/ bag. We will continue selling it on Tuesday’s until we run out of popcorn. A reminder that all popcorn sales go towards supporting families in need at Christmas time.

Lost and Found

Please come by the school to search our lost and found and retrieve items your child has misplaced. We will be donating all remaining items on June 28th.

Outstanding School Based Fee Invoices

Mrs. Cumming will be sending out notices to any families next week with outstanding fees for school activities (ie. field trips). Please check your MyCBE account to see if there are any fees still owing. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

I want to wish everyone a fantastic weekend. If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out—I'm here to help.

Take care,

Steve Ross

The time has come when we begin collecting library books to ensure they are all returned prior to the end of June. Please send any outstanding library books back to the school with your child.
