I have a few items to highlight this week:

Volunteer Tea – RSVP

We will be hosting our volunteer tea on April 18th at 12:30 prior to our afternoon performance of the Spring Concert. Volunteers will also have preferred seating for the afternoon concert. This is an opportunity to thank the amazing volunteers who continue to ensure our students have many opportunities within and beyond the classroom. Volunteers should have received invites to this event as they have been sent home with one of your children over the past week. If you have volunteered, but an invite did not make it home, please let us know. Additionally, in planning, it is helpful for us to be able to gauge numbers for this event. We ask that all volunteers please visit this link to RSVP for the Volunteer Tea

Book Fair | All Next Week

Next week students will be invited to enjoy book fair. This is an opportunity for students to buy books and small items to enjoy. The proceeds go directly to help our school buy new recourses. Last year the money helped our school buy new home reading books that were desperately needed.

Students will have a chance to preview the book fair followed by a second visit later in the week where they will be given the chance to buy something. Even a few dollars can get students something.  Book fair will also be open during Spring Concert so please pop by! See you in the library for book fair!

Swimming Forms | Grade 1-6 Students

All swim ability forms need to be returned to your classroom teacher by this Monday, April 15. If you need another copy, please come see us in the office. These forms need/will to be dropped off to the pool by school staff by Monday April 15, 3pm.

Pajama Day | April 26

Our Leadership students have organized a spirit day for students on April 26th. Students are encouraged to show off their favourite pajamas on this date!

I want to wish everyone a fantastic weekend. If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out—I'm here to help.

Take care,

Steve Ross

This is a friendly reminder that Parent Council sells popcorn weekly to support families in need during the holiday season. Last year, we raised $2000, all going to BHS families! Popcorn is sold in homerooms on Tuesday mornings and then delivered by Thursday lunch. Each bag costs $2.50. Your support makes a meaningful impact in our local community!
